By accessing, browsing, or signing in to nightfall.report, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our handling of your data as described below. If you are using the Service on behalf of a group or community, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

We may update these Terms from time to time (see “Changes to these Terms”). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

nightfall.report is a free, community-run companion tool for Destiny 2 that helps Guardians look up Nightfall clears, flawless runs, sherpa history, loadouts, and related statistics, pulled live from the official Bungie.net API.

nightfall.report is a fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Bungie, Inc. Destiny, Destiny 2, and all associated logos and trademarks are the property of Bungie, Inc.

Some features require you to sign in through Bungie’s official OAuth flow. We never see or store your Bungie password. When you sign in, you authorize the Service to access certain Bungie.net and Destiny 2 data associated with your account.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your Bungie account secure. You must be old enough to hold a Bungie account and to use the Service in your jurisdiction. You may disconnect at any time by signing out or revoking access from your Bungie.net account settings.

Destiny 2 game data, activity records, emblems, and imagery are provided by Bungie through the Bungie.net API and remain the property of Bungie, Inc. and its licensors. We display this data to help you track and share your record.

The design, layout, original text, and code of nightfall.report are owned by the Service and its creator. You may share links to public profiles freely, but you may not copy, scrape in bulk, resell, or create a competing service from our content or code without permission.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or connected systems;
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data except through features we provide;
• Use the Service to harass, defame, impersonate, or harm others;
• Circumvent bans, rate limits, or access controls;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; or
• Use automated means to interact with the Service in a way that degrades it for others.

We may investigate and take action against conduct that violates these Terms, including removing content and suspending access.

The Service may let you set a display handle, appear on leaderboards and sherpa logs, or be featured in announcements and honors. You are responsible for any content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service. You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or that violates another person’s rights. We may remove content or hide profiles at our discretion.

To provide the Service, we store limited information such as your Bungie membership identifiers, display name, Destiny profile data, and the access tokens needed to talk to Bungie on your behalf. We use this data only to operate and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. Public Nightfall records are, by nature, viewable by anyone with the link. You can request removal of your stored profile by contacting us, subject to any information we must retain for security or legal reasons.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and depend on the Bungie.net API, which can change or become unavailable without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that data will always be current or complete.

The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Statistics, clears, flawless detection, and live status are best-effort and may be incomplete or inaccurate due to Bungie API limits, caching, or account privacy settings. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nightfall.report and its creator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or created risk or legal exposure for us or others. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may revise these Terms as the Service evolves or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
